We provide a programmed rugged two-way radio for your vehicle so you can hear trail commentary, historical facts, and direct spotting instructions in real-time.
Access to our Starlink Wi-Fi network at staging and stops, plus a Satellite Phone carried by the guide for absolute emergency redundancy.
Your guide vehicle is packed with professional-grade recovery gear (winches, straps, traction boards, tools) and a comprehensive first aid kit to handle any trailside surprise.

Meet us at our official staging area at the Cahuilla Casino Hotel. We’ll hand over your radio, run through a quick safety briefing, check your vehicle equipment, and hit the dirt!
The Fine Print
To keep the group safe and moving smoothly, all guest vehicles must meet the following baseline requirements before hitting the trail.
High-clearance 4x4 vehicles with a true low-range transfer case (4-Low). Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator, Toyota Tacoma/4Runner 4x4, Ford Bronco, and similar. No AWD crossovers.
Minimum 31-inch All-Terrain or Mud-Terrain tires in good condition. A full-size spare tire is mandatory.
Must have at least one frame-mounted front and rear recovery point (tow hooks, receiver hitch, or aftermarket bumpers).
Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance policy. Expect to sign a standard liability waiver at check-in.
Required Credentials: Driver must present a valid driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and proof of active auto insurance.
Pre-Trail Inspection: All personal vehicles will undergo a mandatory safety and trail-worthiness inspection by our lead guide prior to departure. Key requirements include:
Damage Acknowledgment: Personal vehicle operators must sign an agreement acknowledging that off-roading carries inherent risks of cosmetic damage (such as “trail pinstriping” from brush) or mechanical breakdown, which are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
